Warning signs

Is your alignment off?

The clues are all right there in how the car drives. Ignore them and you'll be buying tires early.

Car pulls to one side

Steady pull on a level road usually means alignment, though it can also be a tire problem — we check both.

Steering wheel off-center

Wheel isn't straight when driving straight. Cosmetic — but it also means the alignment isn't dialed in.

Uneven or fast tire wear

Wear on the inside or outside edges is the classic alignment tell. Feathering means toe is off.

Vibration through the wheel

Usually a balance issue, sometimes alignment or suspension. We check the whole picture.

After hitting a pothole

Big impacts can knock alignment out. Worth checking rather than guessing.

New tires or suspension work

Always align after — otherwise you're wasting the new parts.

Common questions

Have a different one? Call — a real mechanic answers during shop hours.

How often should I get an alignment?
Every 12-18 months for daily drivers, or any time you notice pulling, uneven tire wear, or a crooked steering wheel. Also after hitting a curb hard or having suspension work done.
How long does it take?
About an hour for most vehicles. Bring it in — we'll do it while you wait if the shop isn't slammed, or same-day if we need to sneak it in.
Do I need 2-wheel or 4-wheel?
Most vehicles built in the last 20 years need 4-wheel alignment — front and rear suspensions both adjust. Older trucks with a solid rear axle only need 2-wheel. We'll pull your specs and tell you what's actually required.
Will an alignment fix my vibration?
Usually no — vibration is almost always tire balance or a bent wheel, not alignment. We'll check both together so you're not paying for the wrong fix.

Car pulling? Tires wearing weird?

Bring it in — we'll put it on the rack and tell you what's really going on before you buy tires.
