Family-run in Davenport since 1965.
Two shops, one crew, six decades of keeping Quad Cities drivers on the road. Cars, trucks, RVs, fleets, and semi tractors — if it drives, we can probably fix it.
Six decades in the same town
Jack's Brake & Alignment opened in 1965 with a simple idea: treat every vehicle like it belongs to a neighbor — because around Davenport, it usually does. Owner Terry Weipert and the crew still work by that rule today.
Over 60 years we've grown from a single brake shop into two full-service locations, with factory-level scan tools for domestic, Asian, European, and diesel vehicles — plus the bay space and lift capacity to service RVs, fleets, and semi tractors that most Quad Cities shops turn away.
What hasn't changed: we still diagnose before we recommend, quote before we start, and stand behind our work with a 24-month / 24,000-mile parts and labor warranty backed by the TechNet Nationwide network.
The way we work
Written estimates before we start. If we find something extra during the job, we call you first — no surprises when you pick it up.
If a $200 fluid service fixes your problem, we'll tell you. We don't upsell rebuilds when a diagnostic will do.
Same-day service on routine work. Two locations means twice the bay space when you need it fast.
24 months / 24,000 miles parts and labor. TechNet Nationwide coverage follows you if you break down out of state.
A shop with some miles on it
TechNet Professional
TechNet is a nationwide network of independent professional auto repair shops that hold themselves to a standard: modern equipment, current training, and a written code of ethics. Our TechNet status is verified — not self-claimed.
Every qualifying repair we do is backed by a 24-month / 24,000-mile parts and labor warranty. Break down in another state? The TechNet network honors that warranty at any participating shop across the U.S.
